3 Steps to Renting a Car with Cash

Many car rental companies don’t allow customers to pay with cash. Others make you jump through hoops, so much so that it’s almost not even worth it. But that’s not the case at Orthodox Auto Company of Philadelphia. We are a family-owned and -operated company that’s been in business right here in Philly since 1970. Simple and easy service is at the core of what we do—including our cash rental cars. In fact, here’s what you need to do to rent a car with cash.

1. Provide proof of insurance.

To book a rental car, we need to make sure you have the proper full-coverage insurance. Plus, you will need to provide us with proof of that insurance so we can vouch for you. If you aren’t sure what kind of coverage you have, we recommend that you speak with your insurance rep to make sure it’s what you need.

2. Show us your identification.

We can only rent cars to individuals who hold a valid drivers license. Be sure to bring it with you when you pick up your rental vehicle because we will need to verify it.

3. Pay an up-front deposit.

To pay with cash, you will need to provide us with a car rental deposit that equals the rate of seven rental days. If your rental period is less than seven days, we will be sure to return the remaining balance to you after you bring the car back to our lot.

You read it right: No background or credit checks. It’s just that easy to rent a car with cash at Orthodox Auto. To find out more about our affordable and reliable rental cars, contact us today at (215) 332-3520. We’d be glad to tell you all about our economy, midsize, and fullsize vehicles and help you make the reservation.
