What You Need to Rent a Car with Cash

Do you have poor credit? No credit? Well, if that’s the case and you need to rent a car with cash, you might have a hard time renting a car from your run-of-the-mill car rental company. Not all companies allow their customers to pay with cash. But that’s not the case at Orthodox Auto Company of Philadelphia.

Here, we make renting a car easy for anyone. With our cash car rental program, you can get a reliable, affordable vehicle either short-term or long-term in only a few easy steps.

1. Provide proof of insurance.

In order to rent a car, you have to have full-coverage auto insurance, including collision. That prerequisite is both for your benefit and ours, to cover any damages that might occur while you’re using the vehicle. We don’t provide insurance in-house, but you may be able to find temporary policies with a local agent if you do not already have it.

2. Show us your driver’s license.

You have to be able to prove that you’re a licensed driver, so be prepared with an up-to-date, valid driver’s license. You will need this to both rent and operate the vehicle.

3. Pay the deposit.

To rent a car with cash, we require that you pay a cash deposit up front equal to seven full rental days. You may decide not to rent the car for that long, which is fine. We will refund you the remaining balance after you return the car. However, this policy is necessary for renting a car with cash.

Want to find out more about our car rental policies? Are you ready to make a reservation? Contact Orthodox Auto Company anytime at (215) 332-3520. We’d be glad to tell you all about our rental cars and help you find just the right one.
